Pope Matheos The Great...
The eighty seventh successor of St. Mark.
He became pope of Alexandria in AD 1378, and continued for about 32 years as pope. He was very merciful, and very meek. He used to carry food and things to the poor. It was said that Sultan Barcook did not accept the Sultana until pope Matheos advised him to do.

Saint Rewase was his contemproray.
