Saint Soleiman
The disciple of
the Saint, who followed his teacher very
closely, and much did he love him that he asked
to be buried near him. For this intimacy
Solieman used to go to church at dawn, and knock
at its door, and the Saint would open for him.
And since love never fails, Soleiman continued
this habit after the saint had gone to Paradise,
and still the door would open for him.
There is an icon which adorns the north wall of
the church next to the entrance leading to the
Reliquary showing Abba Rewase opening to his
disciple Soliman. |
